Yes, Ecover believes that household products should be cruelty-free. We are proud to be approved as cruelty free under the Leaping Bunny program. Leaping Bunny certification provides assurance that a product is free of animal testing a company’s fixed cut-off date of commitment. To become Leaping Bunny certified, we must comply with requirements of the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics’ Standard. This standard is called the Corporate Standard of Compassion for Animals. As part of this commitment, we adhere to a fixed cut-off date policy and obtain and provide Declarations of Product Compliance and Declarations of Raw Material Compliance from each of our ingredient suppliers and Third-Party Manufacturers to CCIC. We make an annual recommitment to CCIC and our documentation and supplier auditing systems are subject to independent audits at CCIC’s request.
Our Leaping Bunny certification is dependent on us as a company being able to demonstrate that we continue to meet the strict criteria of CCIC.
